The Artiteq Up Rail is a ceiling-mounted picture hanging system designed for spaces where drilling into the walls is not possible or desirable. It provides a practical way to hang and reposition paintings, framed photographs and wall decorations while keeping walls free from additional fixings.
The rail is particularly suitable for concrete ceilings. It is secured to the ceiling using appropriate clips and fixings, while its rounded profile neatly fills the space between the wall and ceiling. This makes it a useful solution for homes, offices, galleries and commercial interiors where a discreet hanging system is preferred.
The Up Rail supports a maximum load of 20 kg per running metre. Compatible suspension wires can be inserted into the rail and repositioned as your artwork display changes.
Installation tip: The rail can be cut to the required length using a suitable hacksaw or grinder. Always ensure that the ceiling, fixings and complete hanging system are suitable for the intended load.
Up Rail for Concrete Ceilings
Unlike conventional wall-mounted picture rails, Up Rail uses the ceiling as its mounting surface. This is especially useful when wall drilling needs to be avoided, when wall finishes should remain undisturbed, or when artwork needs to be displayed along walls where conventional mounting is impractical.
Once installed, compatible suspension wires allow you to move paintings and decorations without creating new holes every time your arrangement changes.
