The Artiteq R70 Rail is a professional heavy-duty picture hanging system designed for museums, art galleries and other environments where secure suspension of heavy artwork is essential. With a maximum load capacity of 100 kg per running metre, it offers a robust solution for demanding display applications.
The R70 is a wall-mounted aluminium rail consisting of two components: a base rail and a cover cap. It can also be installed flush with the ceiling for a discreet, professional finish. Once the base rail is securely mounted, the cover cap clips into place to conceal the mounting profile.

Compatible Hanging Wires and Hooks
The R70 Rail is compatible with the Artiteq Twister 2.5 mm hanging wire. For applications requiring the specified heavy-duty capacity, the appropriate 2.5 mm steel wire and Auto Grip Lock hook must be selected, subject to the load limits of the complete system and the installation requirements.
Always check the rated capacity of the rail, wire, hook and wall fixings before hanging artwork. The load capacity of the complete installation depends on its components, fixing method and supporting wall.
R70 Rail Sold Separately
The R70 Rail is sold separately. Hanging wires and hooks are purchased separately so you can select the appropriate components for your artwork and installation.
For a typical framed artwork suspended from two points, two compatible hanging wires and two suitable hooks are generally used. The required configuration may vary according to the artwork and installation.
